Newly promoted Pescara are searching for a new attacker in the market.
After selling the Serie B leading goal scorer Gianluca Lapadula to Milan, Pescara are quickly on the offensive to find a new forward.
Matias Suarez of Anderlecht fits the bill perfectly. The 28-year old long time Anderlecht forward has responded positively to Pescara’s advances. Next week, the two clubs will meet to find a deal, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The player’s contract runs out in 2017, meaning that there is some emphasis to find a deal to offload him this summer, to ensure he doesn’t walk for free. The reported figure to allow Suarez to leave is around €1 million.
For now the player seems interested and so does Anderlecht. An Argentina forward for I Delfini may be on the horizon.
Suarez played in 36 games last season, scoring seven goals in all competitions.
