Former AC Milan and Inter midfielder Sulley Muntari is finally making his return back to Serie A, as he joins Massimo Oddo’s Pescara.
As Gianluca Di Marzio reported yesterday, the Ghanaian wants to prove himself on the pitch with Pescara, as they fight in the second half of the season to avoid relegation and stay in the top flight of Italian football. No press conference or big announcement, he joins Massimo Oddo in his return to the pitch after a few years off.
It sure will be a joy seeing Sulley Muntari back in Italian calcio. His last taste of Italy was with the Rossoneri in 2015 before joining Ittihad FC in Saudi Arabia. Oddo hopes the 32-year old can provide some sort of aid in the midfield, which could use all the help it can get as the Delfini sit bottom of the table.
