After only playing in 9 games last season, and only featuring for 4 minutes last night in Udinese’s 1-0 win against Genoa, Piotr Zielinski has spoken about the offers he’s received from numerous clubs.
The Polish International told PilkaNozna.pl,“There’s no problem, my situation is not alarming. There is great competition within the team – no one really has a fixed place”. “I haven’t played much so far, but I know my minutes on the pitch will increase in the near future. The season has only just begun, there’s only been a few games”.
“I talked to the manager, I have a couple of offers. But I’m in Udine for now, and I’m fine here. I’m just thinking about growing with the team. Leaving in January? At the moment I’m not thinking about a transfer, I just want to play as much as possible and do my best for Udinese.”
Zielinski started for Poland during the 5-1 victory against San Marino, scoring two goals in the process. There’s a lot of hype surrounding the young Pole, but his amount of playing time has stopped him from showing his potential ability.
