After his unfortunate spell at Milan, Pippo Inzaghi is not done coaching. The former striker has just been announced as Venezia FC’s new coach.
With his arrival in Venice, he joins an ambitious project following the sale of the team to New York lawyer Joe Tacopina. Who has previously stated that he aims to get to the top, and with sporting director Giorgio Perinetti who has made a team that Tacopina says “Could compete in Serie B right now.”
This demonstrates that Inzaghi has made himself an integral part of an important project, and is aiming to continue his work developing young players as he did during his spell as Milan’s Primavera manager.
According to Goal Italia, he and his staff will be presented in a press conference this Wednesday, and his signing will be made official the 1st of July, the official beginning of the new season.
Inzaghi and Venezia, two names familiar to the Italian soccer fan, both known for their great past achievements. Now looking to return to the top, together.
