Francesco Lodi won’t return at Catania. Despite the struggle of the Sicilian team and the slump of the playmaker at Genoa, they won’t reunite. Antonino Pulviretti explained why yesterday: “Lodi last January strongly pushed to leave. We have been clear with him answering that we would have been sold him only in June, despite renewing his contract three times”.
“It was evident for everybody that he wanted to leave Catania: I invite you to see the match against Torino with the transfer market open when Lodi got a red card and picked up a three-game ban or the one in Coppa Italia against Lazio. This is enough to say that Lodi will never come back to Catania”.
