Racing Club de Avellanda’s president confirmed the Nerazzurri’s interest in one of the club’s prized possessions.
Victor Blanco, president of Racing Avellanda spoke to Radio Rivadavia in regards to Inter’s approach for striker Lautaro Martinez.
[Monday night] I will meet with Inter’s representatives to talk about Lautaro Martinez. Certainly he will stay until June, hopefully the entire year.
“Serie A is a league the player likes, but today his release clause is much lower to his actual worth. We’ll try to make sure his sale is the most expensive in the history of football in Argentina.
“There’s a lot of competition between the players in the youth ranks here at Racing, and in this sense Lautaro has shown his true worth.
Martinez’s numbers so far in his career are staggering. This season he has already scored four goals in eight matches, and for Argentina’s Under-21 side, he’s scored seven goals in 11 appearances.
