The endless saga featuring Alvaro Morata could take a step towards conclusion this week when the two clubs meet.
Alvaro Morata has repeatedly said that he just wants the situation to be resolved now, as he’s “tired of hearing about his future”. Indeed, Morata may not have too much of a say in where his career continues in 2016/17 as the dreaded ‘recompra clause’ must be addressed this summer.
According to SportItalia, the two clubs will meet this week to negotiate over the future of Morata, and possibly discuss Mateo Kovacic. The clubs have an excellent rapport due to deals in the past. Other clubs, particularly in England have offered Real major money to purchase Morata from them, in order to turn an easy profit, however Juventus aren’t giving up on the Spaniard.
Juventus remain optimistic of retaining the #9 through next season as they are not keen of giving up Morata without a fight. All options are on the table, and the Bianconeri’s SD Giuseppe Marotta gave him a 50% chance of staying with the club.
Morata has been called up by the Spanish national team for the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France.
