Milan phenom Gianluigi Donnarumma is attracting interest from Europe’s biggest clubs following his breakout onto the world stage.
According to Tuttosport, Real Madrid are looking into the possibility of bringing Donnarumma to Spain and have identified him as Keylor Navas’ replacement in the long run. They will, however, face stiff competition from Manchester United, who are also said to be interested in the young goalkeeper. Should Real Madrid sign David De Gea, as they so feverishly tried in the past, the Red Devils would like Donnarumma between the posts.
On February 25th, the Milan man will turn 18 thus making him eligible to sign a long-term contract. Italian champions Juventus have also reportedly tabled a bid for Donnarumma. The bianconeri apparently offered him a salary of 40 million euros over four years plus an additional 40 million euros that would go to Milan. The rossoneri, by contrast, would like to offer the keeper a contract that would see him tied down to the club until 2022.
