Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus has picked up an injury and is a doubt for his side’s return leg in the Champions League against Juventus.
In Borussia Dortmund’s round of 16 clash in the DFB Pokal against third division side Dynamo Dresden, their star player, Marco Reus, picked up an injury. The German international was accompanied off the pitch by the team’s physiotherapists and was subbed out in the 20th minute of the game. Due to this latest injury, Reus is at risk of missing out on his side’s return leg in the Champions League against Juventus on March 18. The German side find themselves down 2-1 on aggregate and hope to change that at home. However, without the help of Reus, they will find this to be increasingly difficult.
Based on early reports, the player’s injury is believed to be a contusion on his ankle that has left a mark. The club has announced on their official site that Reus will undergo tests during the day on Wednesday to determine to which extent he has hurt himself.
