Uruguayan winger Cristian Rodriguez currently playing at Parma on loan from Atletico Madrid is set to make the move to Brazil and join Felipe Scolari’s Gremio.
Midfielder Cristian Rodriguez has officially terminated his contract with Parma and will be heading to Gremio.
He received a call from Gremio manager by Luiz Felipe Scolari that convinced him to join the Brazilian club.
Rodriguez hasn’t been able to show off his abilities with Parma due to the struggles they’re currently having in the league and a move to Brazil is exactly what 29-year-old needed. He has been told that he will play a key part in Scolari’s project that will take place in Porto Alegre. This morning Rodriguez emptied his locker at Parma and is now waiting for the OK from FIFA to finalise his move to Brazil.
