Roma cruised to a 3-0 victory over Torino as the Giallorossi now turn their attention to the Champions League return leg against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Alisson (7.5): The Brazilian made two absolutely insane saves in the first half. He was not only impressive with his hands, but also his feet. The real deal.
Alessandro Florenzi (6.5): Credited with an assist on Manolas’ goal but can’t say much more than that. Still get the feeling he’s played out of position.
Juan Jesus (6): Iago Falque gave Jesus a major headache and was bailed out by Alisson more than once. Needs to improve.
Kostas Manolas (7): Roma’s best defender of the evening and scored a towering header. Dedicated the goal to Davide Astori. Plaudits for the big Greek.
Aleksander Kolarov (6): Another guy torched by Falque. Kolarov was outmaneuvered frequently throughout the match and will have to do better against Shakhtar Donetsk next week.
Radja Nainggolan (6.5): Better from the Belgian, who had suffered a downturn in form. Played much better in the second half as Roma pushed to increase their lead.
Daniele De Rossi (7): Much like the rest of the squad, he started off slow but grew into the match after halftime and doubled the hosts’ lead. Was replaced towards the end by Pellegrini.
Kevin Strootman (6): Has to do more. The Dutchman hasn’t been playing like he is at the top of his game but did enough to cover the basics.
Cengiz Under (6.5): He brought a lot of pace into Roma’s attack but not much more. Wasn’t as euphoric as he’s been in recent weeks.
Patrick Schick (5): A real let down from the Czech after being given a rare 90 minutes. He will have wanted that to go a different way.
Stephen El Shaarawy (5.5): Was brickwalled by Torino’s defense and failed to provide a spark. Too inconsistent.
Gerson (N/A): Came on too late to make a difference.
Lorenzo Pellegrini (6.5): Came on late but added Roma’s third goal of the night.
Maxime Gonalons (N/A): Came on too late to make a difference.
