Roma could be set to battle with Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of Azzurri winger Domenico Berardi as the English giants show interest.
Domenico Berardi, who was just recently summoned by new Italy CT Roberto Mancini for the latest round of international friendlies, is now being courted by not only Roma, but Premier League outfit Tottenham.
According to the latest edition of the La Gazzetta di Modena, the 23-year old is liked quite a bit in Rome by his former manager Eusebio Di Francesco, but is also on the radar of the Spurs who are well equipped financially to pry the Italian away and bring him to London this summer.
While it remains unclear of what both the Giallorossi and Tottenham are prepared to table for the gifted attacker, it will take a substantial offer in order for Giorgio Squinzi to be swayed.
Berardi had a down year for the Neroverdi in 2017-18, hitting the back of the net just four times in 31 Serie A appearances. But despite a drop in production, there is no denying his talent and perhaps now would be the time for clubs to swoop in while his value has decreased.
