Speaking to DAZN after his side’s 4-0 thrashing against Frosinone at home, Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco hailed the start of a new era.
“For us today is the beginning of a new league, it is as if we are starting all over. We’re improving. We have to get back to doing what we know how to do, this is a group comprised of good guys. It’s never easy to win in Serie A…”
When asked to comment about Roma President James Pallotta’s remarks earlier in the week, when he scoffed at the club’s current form, Di Francesco was indifferent.
“Pallotta? He can say what he wants, it’s his club. Let’s hope that his next remarks are only happy ones.”
“The Derby? We haven’t done anything yet, it’s a new starting point. Today was important to find that self belief again and that will prepare us for Saturday’s derby.
