Roma Manager Eusebio Di Francesco praised Roma for their performance today.
La Magica won their third consecutive Serie A game as they emerged victorious against Crotone with a 2-0 win at the Stadio Scida.
Di Francesco spoke to Mediaset Premium after the game and was satisfied with the Giallorossi performance.
“The team is growing and improving, we put in a good first half performance, as Crotone were closing up and allowed us a lot of possession, so we just needed to be patient and find a way through by moving the ball well down the flanks.
“In the second half, we were making life difficult for ourselves and the windy conditions didn’t help with our passing game, but in the end we were able to get a second goal.
“When you want to play the ball to feet, there are always a few risks. I expect more consistency during the match, as we made too many futile horizontal passes that allowed our opponents to be more aggressive.
“I have to make sure this team can play free from pressure and with the desire to have fun with its football. If you don’t step on to the field ready to just play football, you will struggle against anyone.
Roma Goalkeeper Alisson was phenomenal in between the sticks for La Lupa as he made a number of key saves this afternoon.
“He is one of the three best goalkeepers in the world and I am happy to have him. We let him rest against Shakhtar Donetsk, but had to give him a couple of saves to make today, otherwise he gets bored”.
