Roma look to fend off Tottenham for the rights to sign Sevilla forward Carlos Bacca.
The Giallorossi have a growing interest in 28-year old Colombian forward Carlos Bacca. The ex-Club Brugge man is also being tracked by Tottenham.
Roma are looking to add depth to their front line, with the long-term futures of Mattia Destro and Francesco Totti up in the air, and Bacca is at the top of their shortlist.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the Colombian, under contract until 2018, has a price tag in the €19 million range, a figure that is keeping the Giallorossi’s interest tempered.
Bacca has been one of La Liga’s most underrated scorers, adding 10 goals this campaign, and 24 for the club since joining los Rojiblancos in 2013.
