Roma are attempting to pull off a signing before the start of the mercato
The Giallorossi and the Grifoni are looking to resolve the co-ownership of Andrea Bertolacci, who looks to move away from Genoa in June. Another factor in the deal, is the grandfather clause for co-ownerships expires in June. In a rule change from the FIGC last season, two clubs are no longer allowed to own the same player.
According to GazzettaTV, the first meeting between the parties could be tomorrow with the Roman outfit looking to offer Genoa around €7.5 million to let go of the Italian international midfielder.
Bertolacci has scored six goals and racked up seven assists in 33 games this season for Genoa.
