Roma’s Belgian warrior could be set to stay at the club for the long haul.
There’s optimism at Trigoria, AS Roma’s HQ that they can reach an agreement to tie down Radja Nainggolan with a new contract with the Giallorossi.
According to Premium Sport, the Belgian midfield, who was subject to transfer rumours before the 2016/17 season started, has been in scintillating form this year with 4 goals, 1 assist in 19 appearances. The midfield dynamo is being rewarded for loyalty as well as his form, with an increase in wages from his €3 million a year contract which ends in 2020.
It is likely AS Roma will offer a contract that will expire in 2021, with wages to match those being offered by some some the big clubs around Europe, particularly Antonio Conte’s Chelsea.
