Eight in a row. Roma win another one as they are now 5 pts ahead of Fiorentina and Inter for the final Champions League spot.

Here are the player ratings for Roma vs Udinese –

Szczesny (7): Unlucky not to get a clean sheet but he made saves when he had to. Decent from Szczesny.
Florenzi (6.5): Alessandro Florenzi will go home with the game winning goal. Though he scored, I don’t think he was too great. Wasn’t bad, but wasn’t great.
Manolas (8): Brilliant as always. Nothing was really getting by him tonight and he shut down the Udinese offence. Another top performance from Manolas.
Zukanovic (8): Like his partner, Zukanovic put in a very good shift. Huge task today as he’s replacing the in form Rudiger, but like against Madrid, he handled himself well and is proving to be a good signing for Roma.
Digne (7.5): Lucas Digne was good today. Constantly attacking down the left flank but also helped out a lot defensively.
Keita (7.5): Seydou Keita put in a very accomplished performance. Was important to Roma’s work in defence but also moved the ball around calmly and strung a lot of passes together.
Nainggolan (8): Radja Nainggolan, as always, worked hard and did Roma’s dirty work. Constantly running back and fourth helping the defence and the attack. Good night for the midfielder.
Salah (7.5): It looked like all his running in his recent games is getting to him but Salah still found a way to put in a great shift and provide a fantastic assist to Edin Dzeko.
Perotti (7.5): Another good game for Perotti who played fantastic in the role behind the striker. Dropped back a lot to pick up the ball to create a play. Worked hard as well.
El Shaarawy (7.5): Though he didn’t score, El Shaarawy put in another very solid shift for Roma. It seems he’s finally risen. Easily could have had a goal as well on a couple occasions.
Dzeko (8.5): Our Man Of The Match. Dzeko worked very hard and sacrificed himself for the team. Always offered an option for his teammates and won a lot of battles with defenders both on ground and in the air. Spalletti said he would react after his poor performance vs Madrid and he did exactly that.
Miralem Pjanic (8): Pjanic entered the match at a time where Roma started to slack off and started to look weak in attack. Pjanic completely changed that. Got a wonderful assist on Florenzi’s goal.
Kevin Strootman: (N/A)
