Wednesday’s clash between Roma and Real Madrid will see some big players miss out for both sides.
Starting with Roma, Mohamed Salah and Kostas Manolas both seemed to have picked up injuries after Roma’s 3-1 away win vs Carpi. As reported by SportMediaset though, both Salah and Manolas have trained with the group and should be ready to play from the start at the Olimpico on Wednesday. The report also states that Daniele De Rossi is having trouble to regaining fitness and because of that is in doubt of missing the match. Maicon and Keita, who both sat on the bench for Roma’s match vs Carpi will likely return to the starting 11 vs Madrid says Sky Italia.
As for Real Madrid, it’s expected Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Pepe will all miss the match due to their respective injuries. All 3 of them did not partake in Real Madrid’s latest training session with Roma-Madrid just days away.
Spalletti and Zidane face a slew of fitness problems. The match is just days away and some important players are in doubt.
