The Giallorossi are requesting top dollar on Emerson Palmieri.
Sources are conflicting on the details but everybody seems to be certain, Chelsea’s interest in the Italo-Brazilian left back is real.
According to Calciomercato, Chelsea have put €20 million up front on the table with a bonus package linked to appearances rising to €25 million in total. This doesn’t satisfy Roma as they saw how much Chelsea paid Fiorentina for Marcos Alonso in 2016.
Meanwhile per Mediaset Premium, Chelsea’s offer is a loan with a mandatory buy out clause after a certain number appearances, most likely around €25 million.
Roma are asking for at least €25 million up front and most likely a bonus package seeing the deal rise upwards of €30 million.
John Solano of RomaPress contacted Emerson’s agent, who simply responded with ‘no comment’ on the rumors.
The English side want him, now we await the first offer.
