Interviewed by Sky Sport, Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman talked about Roma’s tight 1-0 over Udinese: “I’m happy because today all that we cared about was getting three points. We can’t always attack and expose ourselves to counter-attacks – now we’re more solid defensively. We can also play well, but away from home it’s more important to get a win than to play well. There’s many differences between Dutch and Italian football; unfortunately, in Holland we’re not doing too well with the National team. We [Roma] have to improve many things, for example scoring a second or a third goal, wary of the fact that we might concede one. We now have two games at home and need to get maximum points.”
