Over the last few days Benfica have decided that Eduardo Salvio with a number of teams fighting for his signature.
According to Portuguese paper A Bola, Benfica have decided to sell Salvio in hopes of garnering a further 30 million euros for their transfer budget. The player has been a key player to the Portuguese giants over the last few seasons and has attracted interest from a number of teams. One of those teams is Milan, who are yet to make a formal offer for the Argentine.
Should the rossoneri want to sign the player they will have to stave off competition from Monaco. The French side have reportedly lodged a 25 million euros bid for Salvio and are awaiting a response.
