As we reported recently, Cassano’s return to Sampdoria is materializing with each passing day. The barese wants to the blucerchiati with whom he achieved a Champions League spot in 2009-10.
As well, the World Cup nears and Cassano wants to give it his all in order to be among the 23 men that Prandelli will take to Brazil.
Sampdoria is intent on inserting forward Nicola Pozzi in the deal, according to Sky Sport.
Parma, however, are not convinced: they want to monetize as much as possible from this deal in order to then invest in the transfer market, thus a player trade is out of the question.
A protracted negotiation is shaping. Cassano has always gotten what he wanted, and now he wants Sampdoria. We await future developments.
Cassano has scored 7 goals in 15 appearances (all competitions) for Parma this season.
