Sampdoria will reportedly turn to an Ajax winger if Eder leaves the club in January as Inter and Leicester circle for the player’s signature.
According to Sky Sport, Sampdoria will turn to Viktor Fischer if Eder leaves the club in the next week. The Italo-Brazilian is being closely followed by both Inter and Leicester. In the last few days, it was reported that the English side pulled ahead in the race for the Italy international.
Despite the player’s importance to the side, Sampdoria have already devised a plan for the post-Eder. The man tasked with replacing him? Ajax’s Viktor Fischer. The 21-year-old has been in impressive form this season for the Dutch side and has been attracting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs. Due to his ability to beat his man on the dribble, Fischer is an enticing option for Montella’s side.
The Ajax man has scored nine goals and registered four assists in 22 appearances in all competitions this season.
