Riccardo Saponara will be redeemed from Milan at the end of the season and will be 100% owned by Empoli
According to La Gazzetta, the intentions of the Azzurri were expressed more than once, by the entire management. First the president Fabrizio Corsi, then the Director of Sport Marcello Carli and then finally the team manager Pietro Accardi have made it clear that the club would exercise the option to buy from the Rossoneri for €4 million, in which they had already spent €500,000 in the winter to acquire ‘Ricky’ on loan.
His future, isn’t exactly clear. He has suitors who would like to take him away, but he will most likely stay at Empoli next year. A lot of it depends on Sarri’s future who has two years left on his contract, but even he has a lot of interest around him.
