After qualifying for the Europa League, the Neroverdi are looking to bolster their squad with some final key additions, including Torino’s Davide Zappacosta.
Sassuolo are looking at reinforcing their squad with some key personnel, and according to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Neroverdi are being linked to Davide Zappacosta.
The defender currently plays for Torino and is regarded as a key figure in their back line. A meeting will occur between Sassuolo and Zappacosta’s agent in the upcoming days in an attempt to thrash out a deal.
The 24-year old is a former Italian U-21 international, and has been called up to the senior squad for Euro 2016 but never made the final cut. Siniša Mihajlović has already seen Kamil Glik (Monaco) and Bruno Peres (Roma) already depart this summer. As Nikola Maksimovic continues to be linked with a move away, the Granata backline could look vastly different than last year.
