Pescara star and Serie B top goal scorer Gianluca Lapadula has been heavily linked to a move to Napoli in the past week. Pescara president Sebastiani has given his word on how his starlet could fare at the Southern club.
In an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Sebastiani confirmed the talks with Napoli;
“De Laurentiis and I spoke about Lapadula and some youth products from Napoli. The willingness of the player will be important but I think with the 3 competitions that Napoli participate in, that Lapadula can find the space he deserves.”
According to Sky Sport Italia correspondent Gianluca Di Marzio, Lapadula could very well be on his way to Napoli this summer, with a reported €8million-€9million euro deal on the horizon. Di Marzio also adds that the two presidents spoke about the possibility of 3 Pescara youth products to be entered into the deal to decrease the transfer fee for Lapadula. The 3 Pescara youth products are Caprari, Zampano and Vitturini.
Sebastiani also added that there will be further updates in the near future.
“Soon we will reevaluate with Napoli and other clubs that are interested to fully understand the best possible solution for us and Lapadula.”
