After heading into the winter break in third place in Serie B, just shy of the automatic promotion spots. Bologna are looking to improve there squad in the January transfer window in the hope that it propels them back to Serie A over the course of the second part of the season.
The Rossoblu have identified Catania centre back Nicolas Spolli as a man they want to bring in, in the hope that he helps them back to Serie A at the first time of asking. 31 year old Spolli has made 14 appearances in a campaign to forget for the Elefanti as they sit perilously close to the drop zone and Lega Pro.
TuttoBolognaweb is reporting that Bologna are willing to exchange both Michele Pazienza and Gennaro Troianiello to secure the services of the Argentinian defender.
