Milan Skriniar has been a key part of Inter’s defense this season, starting in almost all the matches this campaign.
The Slovakian spoke to the press ahead of Sunday’s clash with his old club Sampdoria.
“We’ll have to give our best against Sampdoria,” Skriniar told Mediaset. “We have to give it our all, the maximum. It will be an extraordinary game, it’s always like that when you face your old team.”
“But we are Inter and we have to win. A lot of time has passed since our last win away from home, our objective is to qualify for the Champions League. Playing against Napoli is never easy as they always have the ball but we also had a few good counter-attacks.”
“We had our chances but we all have to do more. Spalletti’s words have spurred us on for this match. We have to win.”
“As for the fans, they can stay calm. I’m happy here and I’m not leaving.”
