Scudetto leaders Juventus saw their run of the 12 consecutive Serie A victories come to an end as they were held to a 0-0 draw by relegation battlers SPAL.
Here are the Bianconeri player ratings.
Gianluigi Buffon (5): Was a spectator for the entire game as SPAL failed to register a shot on target.
Mattia De Sciglio (6): Restricted the pressure SPAL inflicted on the right side of his defence and looked comfortable with the ball at his feet.
Daniele Rugani (6): Dealt well with a fiery Mirco Antenucci and demonstrated a good passing ability.
Giorgio Chiellini (6): Commanded the Bianconeri defence and made sure that La Vecchia Signora kept their 10th clean sheet in a row in Serie A.
Kwadwo Asamoah (4.5): Defensively was solid but struggled to have an impact when pushing forward. Subbed off on 63 minutes.
Miralem Pjanić (5.5): Looked dangerous when he had the ball and his passing was on point but the Bosnian International couldn’t find a killer ball for Le Zebre tonight.
Blaise Matuidi (5): Cut out any loose balls and SPAL attacks when necessary but was unable to drive La Signora Omicidi forward.
Douglas Costa (7): The former Bayern Munich star was a nightmare for SPAL as his pace and dribbling ability caused the Spallini defence a number of problems all night.
Paulo Dybala (6): Played in his natural ‘Number 10’ position and the Argentinian International was able to link-up well with his wide players and Gonzalo Higuain. ‘La Joya‘ was unable to break down the resilient SPAL defence tonight though and he will be disappointed with his overall performance.
Alex Sandro (4): Played in a more advanced role tonight for La Madama but the Brazilian International was poor and failed to cause any trouble whatsoever for SPAL during the 90 minutes.
Gonzalo Higuain (5): Had little service all night and attempted to work with the scraps he was fed.
Mario Mandžukić (4): Had little impact when he replaced Asamoah on the hour mark and the Croatian International headed wide with a glorious opportunity to give La Goeba the lead.
Andrea Barzagli (5): Replaced Chellini for the last 10 minutes and defended well when called into action.
Rodrigo Bentancur (5): Came on for Matuidi and helped to stop any SPAL counter-attacks during the final moments of the match.
