Paulo Sousa, Fiorentina

The Portuguese boss, who once roamed the midfields of Juventus, Parma and Inter, is on the chopping block with the Della Valles – and has been for quite some time now. La Viola, currently sitting in 7th, are clearly lacking the quality in many respects, but much of the fault can be dished out to Sousa whose tactical decisions often make one scratch their head. Woeful results to Roma (0-4 defeat) and relegation-bound Palermo (0-2) – partnered with the inability to be advantageous in AC Milan and Inter’s slip up for the final Europa League spot – point to his departure next month. Inter’s Suning ownership have plenty of ambition, evident in their large spending spree last summer, and will likely look to appoint a big name boss to the bench. However, their supposed primary options could be tough pry away so while Sousa has yet to be linked to the Inter post, it wouldn’t surprise me to see his name come about next month.
