Carlos Tevez has spoken today to Radio La Red, confirming his will to end his career at Boca Juniors and discussing other topics like his experience at Juventus, the Argentinian NT and the Balloon d’Or.
On his impact with Italian football: “It was easy for me, because I arrived at Juventus, a very strong team, where all the players know what they have to do”.
“My dream is still to end my career at Boca. It’s not easy. There are negotiations to made, there is decision to take and I have to be prepared. I’m 29 and I still have 3 years of contract with Juventus”.
“Surely I would like to come back still as a competitive player, capable of writing the story of the club. I don’t need to take any more money, I’d play at Boca for free, for the love I have for that shirt”.
“I don’t have to explain why I won’t go the WC. I don’t think I’m able to change the situation. Even if I scored 30 goals in the league, they won’t call me up, like they didn’t when I was playing well at City. I would not like the missed penalty against Uruguay of two years ago to be my last image with Albiceleste. It’s painful to watch Argentina’s matches, I don’t watch them”.
On the Ballon d’Or. “In my opinion, Ribery deserves it. We know that Messi and Ronaldo are in the race every year, but for how he played with Bayern this year, he deserves it more”.
