Matteo Darmian – The Italy international has found it difficult to find playing time under Jose Mourinho and with a plethora of positive performances from his teammate Antonio Valencia, it is clear to see that Darmian’s future lies further and further away from Old Trafford.

With Ignazio Abate in decline, and a raw product in Davide Calabria, Milan is desperate for a fullback with tenacity, experience, and assertiveness on both ends of the field. Darmian fits this profile perfectly, and as a former Milan youth academy player, one can assume he would be keen on rejoining the club that brought him into the world of calcio.

During his time in Italy, Darmian developed into one of Europe’s finest fullbacks. Returning to Serie A would present Darmian with the opportunity to take back his place amongst the world’s elite right backs.
