With Gillet leaving for Catania, Torino moves quickly to replace him with the Uruguayan Salvador Ichazo
With the legendary goalkeeper Jean-François Gillet leaving to Catania, Torino is forced to find a replacement in order to backfill his position.
Padelli had deputized well for the former Bari goalkeeper while he was suspended, and he will likely get the start. In the meantime, making his way to Torino is Uruguayan Salvador Ichazo. The 22 year old will arrive in Turin tomorrow after which he will complete his medical and sign his new contract.
The goalkeeper arrives from Danubio of Montevideo on loan until June 2015 after which Torino may buy him out for €2-3 million, Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
Ichazo has made a total of 67 appearances for Danubio since going professional in 2011.
