The Torino and Italy international forward has been the subject of some speculation this January.
Belotti has scored 13 goals so far this campaign and a few weeks ago penned a new long term extension with the Granata. The contract extended his stay until 2021, doubled his wage and placed a €100 million release clause to foreign clubs.
Spanish newspaper AS reports Arsenal recently bid €65 million for his services but Torino swiftly moved to reject the bid.
Speaking to Sky Sport, Torino’s Sporting Director Fabio Petrachi confirmed the offer was made by the Gunners.
“Yes, we received the offer but it didn’t reflect the true value of the player. In any case, he’s not going anywhere for the moment. We’ll see what happens in the future but we intend on keeping [Belotti].”
The striker signed from Palermo in the summer of 2015 and has gone on to be one of the more prolific attackers in Serie A.
