The Paraguay international has caught the attention of the London side.

On the back of a successful loan spell at Spanish side Sporting Gijon, the Paraguayan is returning to Roma but perhaps not for long.

It’s believed that Mauricio Pocchetti is a massive fan of the 20 year old forward, and is pushing for his signature in this summer in advance of their UEFA Champions League campaign, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Last season, Sanabria was regular for Sporting Gijon’s lineup featuring 29 times and scoring 11 goals in the La Liga.

Sanabria is a product of the famed Barcelona youth academy, but had a falling out with the club in which he ended up deciding to sign for Roma in 2014.

In the past, he has been linked with a return to Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Valencia and even Chelsea. It’s no surprise that his performances have turned heads while being so young.

He has appeared 8 times for the Paraguayan national side, and featured in their Copa America Centenario campaign.
