Udinese has made an important signing for their 2016/17 campaign in Rodrigo de Paul, Argentinian winger from Valencia.
According to GazzaMercato, the Argentinian is coming to Udine for a sum of about €3 million. The left winger born in ’94 can play on both flanks and also as trequartista, with this signing Udinese hope to inject some creativity into their attacking corps.
De Paul joined Valencia in 2014 from Racing Club for an estimated fee of €6.5 million. He has since made a total of 32 appearances and scored just one goal.
After Udinese’s disappointing season in which they barely escaped the relegation zone, the Zebrette faithful hope that this move can address last year’s lackluster attack, which scored only 35 goals whilst conceding 60.
This is just one signing, the Friuli based squad still have much work to do if they hope to return to their previous glory.
