Good news for Torino, finally a player who isn’t tempted by big names on teams that have fallen from grace. Finally a player interested in future projects.
According to Alfredo Pedulla, Mirko Valdifiori wants to leave Napoli. He has many suitors but has given Torino first choice. Pedulla’ states that the negotiations could take off very quickly.
Before his disappointing season at Napoli, Valdifiori played seven seasons at Tuscan club Empoli where he amassed 234 appearances and scored 4 goals. He is a player that needs to be integral to a project and Torino would make perfect sense. Napoli signed Valdifiori for a total of 5.5 million euro, but could leave the Partenopei for less.
Adem Ljajic and Iago Falque could join this week. With the appointment of Sinisa Mihajlovic, Torino are an interesting team that are building themselves for a bright future. Is Mirko Valdifiori part of that future?
