Watford are looking to secure some much need strike power for Walter Mazzari.
The Premier League club are looking to improve their current form, with some inspired signings.
The club are targeting Fiorentina’s Mauro Zarate, as the striker has struggled for game time back in Italy. According to Gazzetta Dello Sport Watford will ask for a loan deal, with an option to make it permanent at the conclusion of the season. The figures of the offer are reported to be around €2.5 million.
Mazzari’s side has struggled to convert goals, and believe Zarate can help solve that issue. Zarate has previous experience in England having played for Birmingham City, West Ham and QPR.
Watford are said to be confident of push the deal through.
