The Hammers are not yet close to reaching a clause in the contract to buy out Simone Zaza.

Earlier reports indicated the buyout clause set on Simone Zaza was 10 matches, but according to Sport Mediaset, the real number is actually 14.

Once (if) Zaza makes his 14th appearance with West Ham, the London side will be obligated to buy out the Italy forward from Juventus.

According to the Sun, the buyout fee is €25 million, however after only four appearances so far and 0 goals, they could rethink their deal.

There’s a long way until May, but his slow start is hurting his chances of remaining with West Ham.
