29-year-old Colombia and Milan striker Carlos Bacca’s transfer saga has taken a new turn.
Today, Sky Italia are reporting that A.C. Milan’s star-man Carlos Bacca has decided to stay with the club after becoming convinced by new coach Vincenzo Montella’s training system.
English club West Ham have been long admirers of the 29-year-old who scored 18 goals in 38 games for the Milanese giants in his debut season. The Hammers have also today signed 22-year-old Jonathan Calleri on loan which appears to end their interest in the Colombian.
Should Bacca remain, which seems more likely now than it did last week, the Rossoneri would have a quality attacking force that would include newcomer Gianluca Lapadula and emerging star M’Baye Niang.
