Word On Twitter: Morata, Allegri, Rossi, Drogba, Hazard and Ba React To The Result

Following Fiorentina’s triumph over Juventus at the Juventus Stadium in the Coppa Italia, certain players took to Twitter to react to the result.

Prior to their loss to a Mohamed Salah led Fiorentina, Juventus were unbeaten in their last 47 official matches at home. However, Vincenzo Montella’s viola side proved to be too much on the night for the Serie A champions and defeated them thanks to a brace from their Egyptian super star. After the loss, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri sent out his customary post match tweet. In his tweet, the former Milan boss wrote,:

“A step in the wrong direction that hurts and complicates our path forward but at the moment nothing is compromised. Credit to Fiorentina, now we must think about returning to winning ways on Monday.”

Following in the footsteps of his manager, Juventus forward Alvaro Morata also went to Twitter to voice his dissatisfaction at the result. The Spanish forward said,:

“Our mind is soley on picking ourselves up right away. We have to keep working and fighting. Thanks for your support.”

Giuseppe Rossi, on the other hand, was ecstatic at his side’s triumph despite being forced to watch from the sidelines through injury. The Viola man wrote:,

“Wow what a game! Only 90 minutes are missing. #aleviola”

Salah’s performance left many in awe, especially former Chelsea teammates of his such as Demba Ba, Didier Drogba and Eden Hazard. Besiktas forward Demba Ba tweeted in regards to Salah’s performance and wrote,:

“I love it.”

Drogba and Hazard had the same thing in mind and both tweeted,:

“He’s on fire.”
