Ahead of the always-tense Derby della Capitale, Zdenek Zeman provided his opinion on the players to be involved in the match and claims there is no real favorite to walk out as victors.
In an interview with Premium Sport, former Roma manager Zdenek Zeman gave his thoughts on the upcoming Derby della Capitale:
On Ciro Immobile:
He did very well under me at Pescara, then he went to Torino and even there he did very well. Unfortunately, he lost two years in Germany and Spain where he played without serenity. I am happy that he has returned to his level at Lazio and the National Team.
On Francesco Totti:
I would always see him on the pitch but I realized that I cannot anymore. If he feels good physically, it is right that he plays.
On Edin Dzeko:
He is doing very well compared to last year, even if he still needs to improve on certain occasions. He is a quality player, if he had smarter feet, he could be like Ronaldo.
On the Derby:
I do not see a favorite but Roma has the more important squad.
